About Us

The Avalon and Stone Harbor Elementary Schools are committed to providing a quality education program for everystudent. We strive to ensure that all students are proficient in the New Jersey Student Learning Standards. Our children will be taught in a safe and positive environment and will learn to be responsible, confident and caring citizens.

Why Avalon Stone Harbor Schools?

The Avalon and Stone Harbor Elementary School districts were consolidated starting with the 2011-12 school year. Students in grades K-4 from both communities attend the school in Stone Harbor, while students in Pre-K and grades 5-8 go to the school in Avalon.

Small Size

Being two small districts that collaborate closely fosters a strong sense of community and allows for more personalized attention for students and closer relationships between staff, students, and families.

Our dedicated staff are diligent about their subject matter and deliver it to our students using differentiated instruction, personal, social and emotional learning.
