The Avalon and Stone Harbor Elementary School districts were consolidated starting with the 2011-12 school year. Students in grades K-4 from both communities attend the school in Stone Harbor, while students in PreK and grades 5-8 go to the school in Avalon.
The Avalon/Stone Harbor Schools are committed to our students and families. We take pride in our robust instructional programs. Our dedicated staff are diligent about their subject matter and deliver it to our students using differentiated instruction, personal, social and emotional learning. Stone Harbor School houses our kindergarten through fourth grade and Avalon School consists of grades five through eight and our preschool three and four program. Both facilities are state of the art equipped with the latest technology. Our students excel to be effective members of our school community and a global society.
